How to figure out your hat size: Kids, Small, Classic, or XL

Option 1: Use brass tacks fit advice 

  • Men with average size heads = Classic 

  • Men that prefer a lower crown or tighten most snapbacks = Small

  • Men with extra large heads = XL

  • Women with average size heads = Small

  • Women with larger heads = Classic

  • Kids age 3 - 7 with typical heads  = Kids

  • Kids age 8+ or age 3-7 with larger heads = Small

I've purchased a Navis hat for every member of my family, including a few of the kids' sizes, and they've all been fantastic. The chin strap does exactly what it's designed to do... it keeps the hat securely in place on windy days and during all kinds of outdoor adventures that me and the family go on. But my son discovered an unexpected bonus: he loves playing with the strap even when he doesn't need it! It's become a fun little fidget feature that we never anticipated, and it's one of the reasons this has become his favorite hat. Sometimes the best features are the ones you don't even plan for :)
